Terms of Service
The terms that govern our work and this site.
These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the roofing work carried out by Summit Ridge Roofing. Signing an estimate or authorizing work means you accept these terms together with the written scope of that job.
Estimates And Scope
Estimates are free and are valid for 30 days. An estimate covers only the scope written on it. Conditions found after tear-off, such as rotten decking, failed flashing or code upgrades required by the inspector, are quoted as a written change order and approved by you before we continue.
Verbal changes are not binding. Every change to scope or price is put in writing and signed by both sides.
Scheduling And Weather
Roofing is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule work for rain, wind or unsafe temperatures without penalty to either party. We will give you as much notice as conditions allow.
Payment
Unless the written estimate says otherwise, payment is due as follows:
- A deposit on material delivery, stated on the estimate.
- The balance on completion, after your walkthrough and our final inspection.
- Invoices unpaid after 30 days accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Colorado law.
Where the job is covered by an insurance claim, the amounts and schedule follow the approved scope agreed with your carrier.
Insurance Claims
We can document damage, meet your adjuster on site and provide the photographs and measurements a claim needs. We do not negotiate, adjust or settle claims on your behalf, and we do not offer to waive, absorb or rebate your deductible. Waiving a deductible is insurance fraud in Colorado and we will not do it.
Warranty
Every re-roof we install carries a written 25-year workmanship warranty, registered to the property address and issued on completion.
The warranty covers workmanship. Manufacturer warranties on materials are registered in your name and are honored by the manufacturer under their own terms. The warranty does not cover damage from later storms, foot traffic, work by other contractors, structural movement or failure to keep gutters and drains clear.
The warranty transfers once to a new owner if you notify us in writing within 30 days of closing.
Cancellation
You may cancel a signed contract within three business days of signing for a full refund of any deposit, as provided by federal law. After custom material has been ordered or delivered, we retain documented material and restocking costs.
Access And Site Conditions
You agree to give our crews reasonable access to the property and driveway, to move vehicles and fragile items away from the work area, and to tell us about septic lines, irrigation, solar equipment or anything else that could be damaged by dumpsters or ladders. We are not responsible for damage to items we were not told about and could not reasonably see.
Limitation Of Liability
Our liability for any claim connected with a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Colorado law.
Website Content
